The world fell apart
Out of desperation
and the decay of the world
was born the One World Government.
In their infinite wisdom they created walled cities to house criminals.
The Malcontents.
The dregs.
And anything you want can be gained by one simple challenge.
Survive 30 days in....
The City
Out of desperation
and the decay of the world
was born the One World Government.
In their infinite wisdom they created walled cities to house criminals.
The Malcontents.
The dregs.
And anything you want can be gained by one simple challenge.
Survive 30 days in....
The City
The shot shifts from the text to a view of a huge city filled with skyscrapers and various neighborhoods all of which was surrounded by a seventy foot wall. As the skyline shot of the city pulled back the opening coords of "Finish Line" began to play. A helicopter appears heading over the wall of the city. It comes to hover over one of the buildings and a blonde man was shown being thrown from it to land spine first on the roof of the building.
"Good evening
My people, up in the chandeliers.
The wining and dining
the menu is blood, sweat and tears."
As the words began the shot quickly flashes between a brown haired girl of about seventeen huddled in a corner of apartment lit only by burning candles, a bearded man sitting behind a desk with a glass of bourbon in one hand and a cigar in the other, a golden eyed man holding a bloody baseball bat, a woman painted up like a psychotic clown holding a bloody ax, a man with dread locks hiding behind a door, a blonde woman hiding inside what had once been a bank vault and a trip sitting on the couch of an apartment watching a television.
"Everybody ready?
Raining down confetti.
Champions are born right now.
Aint about the glamour
click goes the hammer.
Run when you hear that sound."
The words came slow and steady set to a steady beat of Finish Line with the images on the screen changing with each stanza. A close up shot of the blonde man's face as he rises up from the rooftop, a shot of the bearded man with the cigar now in the corner of his mouth and a smirk on his mouth. At the mention of a hammer, the shot shifts to someone pulling back the hammer on a pistol and the final stanza is met with the eruption of fire from the gun firing.
"Heroes never die.
Gonna make it to the finish line.
We know we survive.
Even if we crawl to the finish line.
I don't believe it, underdog dreaming.
Don't need no cheers, the world's gonna see it.
Heroes never die.
Gonna make it to the finish line."
The chores hits and the shot changes to a group of armed men wielding assault rifles coming down the stairs, a quick cut to the roof above the blonde man exploding down showering him with wood and debris and a group of men and women in colorful vests opening fire down at him. A quick cut to him running through a doorway and grabbing the brown haired girl by the collar literally launching her into and over the railing of a window while bullets ping of the steel seconds behind her. A quick cut to the blonde haired man and the man with the golden eyes standing inside what looked like a subway car, each bloody and holding knives in the middle of a knife fight.
"Their dreams just keep dripping
out of their golden cups.
I'm starting.
I'm starving.
Leftovers aint enough."
"Aint about the royals.
They do nothing for you.
All you got is you right now.
Who is gonna falter?
Who is gonna conquer?
Better never count me out."
At the mention of Royals the shot quickly shifts between the bearded man holding the cigar now surrounded by a red haired woman and a blonde woman and the man with the golden eyes standing beside the woman in clown make up. At the mention of only having you now the shot quickly shifts to the blonde man and the brown haired girl and he seemed to be teaching her how to disarm someone who was armed. The end of the stanza shows a quick flash of all the characters mentioned ending on the bloody, angry face of the blonde man and the words "Better never count me out."
"Heroes never die.
Gonna make it to the finish line.
We know we survive.
Even if we crawl to the finish line.
I don't believe it, underdog dreaming.
Don't need no cheers, the world's gonna see it.
Heroes never die.
Gonna make it to the finish line."
A quick progression of flashes come in rapid succession. The man with the dreads running from what appeared to be mutated people with grey skin and no hair, the blonde woman from the bank vault struggling agianst men and women dressed in all white. As the song picks up speed again a battle is shown with two sides shooting at one another, a flash to the woman in clown paint screaming in agony, blood shooting across her face before finally coming to the blonde man and the man with the cigar standing across the room from one another. The two rush one another, neither of them with a weapon and begin to battle hand to hand but just before they make contact the shot goes black and the logo appears with the words.
"Coming September 10th 2020!"
