Lana Winters: "Hello Everyone! This is Lana Winters and we have Lilith Meadows joining us here, live via video call. She is the star of the Morning Star Productions debut series, Afterlife. Thank you for joining us Lilith, or do you prefer Lily?"
Lilith: "Please, call me Lily or Lil. And thank y'all for talkin to me."
Lana Winters: "Lily it is. So tell us a bit about yourself Lily?"
Lily: "Well, I grew up in Alabama to a very religious family, my father was a pastor. Me though, when I got old enough, I became obsessed with fantasy and magic, most of all the fae. That side has never really left me neither. But at eighteen I left Alabama and moved to North Carolina and I got exposed to wrestlin and I fell in love with it. I went to a little school there to train and I met my best friend and tag team partner there. She got me into zombies and post-apocalyptic stuff and I always thought it would be fun to try the actin thing out, especially if bein a wrestler didn't pan out, but here I am, doin both now!"
Lana Winters: "And what can you tell us about this new project your working on?"
Lily: "Well, I play Madison Cheney, a scavenger in a post apocalyptic world where the undead are running rampant and her and her best friend, Abigail Ryder played by the amazin Bethany Kenyon are fightin just to survive. There's action, drama, and a bit of romance. I definitely feel like this could be a world if a zombie apocalypse actually broke out. People livin in settlements, just tryin to survive one day at a time."
Lana Winters: "That sounds interesting. We've spoken to a few people already and know a little bit about the world, what can you tell us about the role you are taking on? Tell us about Madison Cheney? What's she like?"
Lily: "Well, honestly, she's kinda like me in my life. She's super sweet, carin, she has a big heart and will never abandon those she cares about. But she's also super tough. She's been through a bunch, but she doesn't let what's happened change who she is. It's why I fell in love with the character from the minute the casting call was sent out."
Lana Winters: "That doesn't sound like someone suited to survive in a world like this. Someone who is so nice and sweet. Do you think her survival is a lot to do with being found by the woman whose become like a best friend to her? The military brat, Abigail Ryder?"
Lily: "At first, yeah, if it weren't for Abigail, I don't think Madison woulda survived very long, but through her friendship with Abigail, she's kinda toughened up and learned what it means to hafta make it in a world like what their in."
Lana Winters: "We heard about a scene between Jackson Mawl's actor Dean Matthews and Jema Delacriox's actor Samantha Hamilton in episode 2 that got really intense. Was there anything about the shoot so far that jumps out at you?"
Lily: "Well, in episode 3, there's a scene where Abigail and Madison are in a cavern, searchin for Miles, Madison's love interest. They come upon an area where bodies are just dumped, kinda like a cemetery. The whole scene is visually shocking and a very intense and fearful moment."
Lana Winters: "A cavern filled with bodies? That sounds creepy. What was it like filming something like that?"
Lily: "It was intense, scary, and crazy. The way it's shown, the fear on Madison's face is genuine. I knew it was comin, but I didn't know just how intense and real it was gonna actually feel."
Lana Winters: "You mentioned a love interest, Miles? Have you two had a lot of shoots together? What's it like shooting together?"
Lily: "So far, not too many, but when we're on screen together, you can tell they love and care for each other. And Nate is absolutely amazin to shoot with. The two of us definitely have chemistry."
Lana Winters: "We know that Anton Crowley is playing Abigail's husband James Ryder in flashbacks. with Madison having someone who has romantic feelings for, or the buddings of it, do you think it's hard on Abigail to watch that after losing James the way she did?"
Lily: "I mean, yeah, it would be hard for anyone. The person you called your best friend no longer bein there for ya is tough on anybody. And Abigail is a bit protective of Madison too, like a big sister, so I think despite it bein hard for her to possibly see, she's happy for Madison all the same"
Lana Winters: "Well Lily, thank you for taking the time to speak to us. We'll see you every other Thursday as Madison Cheney!"
Lily: "Thanks for havin me! This season is gonna be amazin. I hope y'all out there check it out!"
